Bring the magic back into their lives !
A brief article published in France-Soir on March 6, 2025, with a telling headline and an alarming assessment: "Anxiety, isolation, a crisis of meaning… Are young Westerners now the unhappiest generation in decades?"
Anxiety and Virtuality: The Collapse of Happiness Among Young Westerners
The question does indeed arise with painful urgency. As with so many other issues, one may wonder (naively?): How did we get here? And what is the point, after all? The conclusion is a harsh one, but it is impossible to ignore: alienating technological developments, the rise of selfishness, governmental and media manipulation, social engineering aimed at dehumanizing and conditioning individuals from school, from early childhood onward, and the destructive apotheosis of the Covid plandemic have led to this crushing of the younger generation, which society coldly accepts as a fait accompli. After being subjected to excessive vaccination (some have died from it, while others have been left with illnesses or severe disabilities!), children and young people are thus expected to grow up in a context of permanent crisis, threats of wars in which they will be encouraged to participate in the name of supposed dangers, a spurious patriotism, an artificially constructed and anxiety-inducing climate change narrative, and a cynical existential lie.
Children are also exploited from a very early age. In France, we no longer send them down into the mines as we did in the 19th century; yet in the Congo, child slaves are they not extracting cobalt today for our smartphones?
In the West, another form of exploitation and predation threatens them—one that is largely kept silent, yet is becoming increasingly visible and increasingly unbearable. The media hardly ever talk about it, but the web is full of videos denouncing a taboo subject: the exponential rise of child sexual abuse and exploitation. Should this material be relayed? A minimum amount of research is all it takes. Scandal follows scandal. In fact, it seems that there is danger at both ends of life: children and the elderly can both fall victim to mistreatment and abuse, while society as a whole appears incapable of acknowledging this reality and taking appropriate action.
What meaning can any of this have? What remedies are there?
Térence will not venture to propose any. He will simply reproduce here a brief text he had kept in his notes, entitled:
Love – Education – Immanence
Yes, we are made to love one another. To do so, we must first understand one another. But since the dawn of civilization, conditioning through education has corrupted the human mind. Perhaps that is what "original sin" is—and only those individuals who escape it can redirect the course of humanity before the ultimate catastrophes. And here we are once again. It is not a question of time but of immanence... We must get to work!

Yes, the JOY OF LIVING right up to our final breath! And what we absolutely must do during this indeed very dark, even bleak, period is, if we still have the physical and intellectual capacity, to work for the emerging generation, whether vaccinated or not, so as to protect it through an appropriate education that fosters an early awakening of consciousness.
It is possible; we must work toward it. This is what Térence is trying to do after emerging unscathed, despite many vicissitudes, from the French national education system, of which, through social conditioning and against the dictates of his soul, he was a pure product. And as he writes this text in 2025, he is slowly but surely approaching the ninth decade of his life... and its final stage.
Without vulnerability...
there is no love.
"Deep down, in life, we have such a need for consolation, tenderness, a hand gently placed over our eyes; and yet, throughout the day, we are always putting on airs and playing the cynic, rolling up our sleeves and puffing out our chests, shouting 'me, me, me,' as though we were capable of clearing by hand the forests of all the mountains—and then, as soon as we are alone and hidden away, we cry into our fingers."
Jean Giono
The Story of Monsieur Jules
in L'oiseau bagué (The Banded Bird) , Folio, p. 12
Without vulnerability... there is no love, no friendship, no gentleness, no tenderness...
When will the beginning of ANOTHER world finally come?
So yes, bringing the magic back into THEIR LIVES, and into ours too, of course, as a consequence!
