The Mark of Life

Behold the beautiful complexity of human life! Consciousness is magnificently complex; the human being is an admirably complex phenomenon! Some parts of our being are conditioned by culture and civilization through education*. The body, the mind, and the brain are conditioned in different ways by different religions, races, languages, and by different social and economic structures, etc.

And there is another part of the individual that is not conditioned by cultures, religions, morality, economic philosophy, etc. There is a kind of sensitivity, a kind of intelligence that enables human beings to perceive. This intelligence is not conditioned. It is neither individual nor collective. It is the mark of life.
